Travel Tips and Information

All international travelers must be in possession of a valid passport (preferably one that is valid for at least 6 months after the 2011 JWM.)
All international travelers must be in possession of a U.S. visa.
Those international travelers who are seeking to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program are now subject to enhanced security requirements. All eligible travelers who wish to travel under the Visa Waiver Program must apply for authorization using the Electronic System for Travel Authorization web site at: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/jsp/printfull.jsp Currently those countries participating in the Visa Waiver Program are: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. If you receive an approved waiver, it is valid for 2 years from the date of issue and it is strongly recommended that you print a copy of the confirmation and keep it with your passport.
Any international travelers from countries not participating in the Visa Waiver Program will need to follow the standard “paper U.S. visa” process. This process will require the traveler to obtain a U.S. visa from the United States Embassy or Consulate in the traveler’s country to process a “nonimmigrant visa” for entering the USA. Once the U.S. visa is obtained, it should be kept with the traveler’s passport at all times.
